Ginger Tea

This ginger tea is the perfect recipe with a combination of ginger, tea and sugar in the right proportions to make it extremely flavourful. It can soothe you when you are unwell, and can even help rejuvenate when you are tired.

Ginger is an effective cure for congestion, sore throat, cold and cough. It is noted as having antioxidant effects. It aids digestion. Thus it helps relieve indigestion, diarrhoea, stomach cramps etc. It is used to treat nausea. Also, ginger’s therapeutic properties help stimulate blood circulation, cleanse the bowels and kidneys, remove toxins from the body and nourish the skin.

Ingredients
3 cups water
3 tsp tea powder
2 tsp sugar
3 tsp chopped ginger
1 cup milk

Method
1. Boil the water along with the sugar and ginger till it reduces to one and half cup.

2. Add the tea powder until it reduces it to one cup.

4. Wait till it boils, then filter.
5. Enjoy while hot!
