Coconut and Fried Gram Chutney

This chutney is easy and quick to make and tastes extremely delicious as well. It is a perfect side dish for any Indian dish like rice, paratha or chapati. The combination of the dry coconut, fried gram, cumin seeds and other spices makes this recipe one to die for!

Fried gram is an outstanding source of manganese, folate, protein, dietary fibre, copper, phosphorous and iron.

1 cup fried gram
1 cup dry coconut (Sliced)
1 tbsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp roasted coriander and cumin powder

1. Grind all the above ingredients into  a powder.
2. Serve the chutney powder with piping hot rice and ghee or any roti, chapati, etc.
3. Store in an airtight container.
