Red Sauce Pasta With Olives

This recipe is extremely delicious, and quick and easy to make as well! Perfectly-cooked penne and richly flavoured red sauce are a heavenly match! The vegetables, the sauce, salsa, cheese and oregano make this dish irresistible. Pasta is kids’ favourite as well, and can be enjoyed at any time of the day! 

Olives help in maintaining healthy, supple skin due to healthy oils found in it. Black olives are a good source of mono unsaturated fats and also a natural source of Vitamin E. They help stimulate the immune system.

It is a good source of Vitamin C which boosts the immune system and fights off cancers and heart disease. It is rich in fiber which helps prevent constipation, heart disease, obesity etc. It is also loaded with calcium which promotes strong bone growth and prevents osteoporosis.

2 bowls boiled pasta (in salted water)
3/4 bowl red sauce
1 tbsp olives
2 tsp salsa
1/4 bowl chopped capsicum
few florets of broccoli
1 tbsp butter

For Garnishing
oregano seasoning (as required)
grated cheese (of your choice)

1. Take a non-stick deep pan and put the butter and all the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
2. Add the red sauce and salsa.
3.Mix well and cook for 5 more minutes.
4. Add the boiled pasta. Mix well.
5. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve hot with grated cheese and oregano seasoning! Enjoy!
