Veg Spaghetti

This spaghetti recipe is extremely delicious. The flavors of the garlic, tomato and oregano blend together to make the perfect sauce. The sauce is extremely easy to make and tastes spectacular as well. It can be enjoyed by all age groups as a main course.

Ingredients
2 bowls of cooked spaghetti
3 medium sized tomatoes
2-3 minced garlic pods
1/2 red bell pepper
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1 byagadi chili
a pinch of chili powder
olive oil for cooking
salt to taste

Method
1. Roast the tomatoes on the gas till the peel comes off.
2. Keep aside for cooling. Remove the peel fully when it cools down.
3. Take a non-stick pan and put 1 tbsp olive oil in it.
4. Cook the bell pepper and minced garlic pods and keep aside.
5. In the same pan, cook the tomatoes while adding water as required and stirring occasionally.
6. When the tomatoes are half cooked, add the salt, byagadi chili, chili flakes, oregano, minced garlic and chili powder.
7. While the tomato sauce cooks, use a spoon to break up the tomatoes into smaller pieces for a chunky sauce.
7. When the sauce is ready, add the spaghetti and the cooked bell peppers (you can add olives and any other vegetables of your choice as well). Mix well.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
