Delicious Banana Bread

This Banana Bread recipe is a unique twist on the usual banana bread- the marble effect is what makes it so special! It is extremely delicious and easy to make. The sweetness of the bananas combined with the chocolate flavor is perfect and loved by all! It can be enjoyed by all age groups at any time of the day.

Ingredients
8 small bananas (ripened)
3/4 cup sugar (or 1 cup depending on sweetness of banana)
1/2 cup oil or butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup maida / plain flour / all-purpose flour
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda / sodium bicarbonate
¼ tsp cinnamon powder / dalchini powder
1/4 tbsp sprinkles / chocolate chips
pinch of salt

Method

  • Take the ripe bananas and cut them into small pieces.
  • Add sugar and mash the banana. Then add the oil and vanilla extract.
  • Also sieve all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt.
  • Blend and combine all the dry ingredients with the banana puree.
  • Fold gently.
  • Take half of the batter and add the cocoa powder. Fold gently.
  • Transfer both the cake batters (one with cocoa powder and one without) into a greased bread/cake mold.
  • Make a marble effect using the handle of a spoon. Add the sprinkles/chocolate chips.
  • Place the tray into a preheated oven.
  • Bake the cake at 180 degree celsius or 356 degree fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove the cake from the oven when ready.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely.
  • Cut into slices and serve. Enjoy!
